The Hotel Tichka is a 130-room hotel that was greeted with delight when it opened in 1986 for its tongue-in-cheek take of traditional Moroccan architecture. The high atrium reception area is lovely, while the decor in the two restaurants (stunning palm tree columns in the international one and blue and yellow striped columns in the Moroccan) is striking. There is a gorgeous bar in deep red with a beaten-copper ceiling, and the hotel also boasts one of the best pools in town, set in a well-tended garden with lawns and a terrace where a buffet lunch and dinner are served (weather permitting).

The Tichka also has a hammam with massage and gommage treatments. There is a news-stand / boutique at the entrance to the hotel.
