Luxury in a very simple setting on the lagoon of Oualidia.
La Sultana is they way to visit Oualidia if you are looking for more sophistication and comfort than offered in other hotels in the area. The rooms are very well equipped with all mod cons, air conditioning / heating, satellite tv, minibar and the bathrooms are luxurios and have lots of hot water!
Meals are served in the sea front restaurant with a fantastic view over the lagoon. Infinity swimming pool and luxurious sun loungers make the whole Oualidia experience a more comfortable one..
A well equipped spa and traditional hammam provides various types of massage and other beauty treatments.
Various activities can be organised by the hotel including fishing trips, water sports and walks.

At la Sultana, the service was great. We had the rooms as requested but they were set up with the three children in the apartment and us in the junior suite. They switched it without any problem. You should know that the junior suite has a day bed on the first floor above the bedroom that converts into a good bed. In fact, since it was more comfortable than the additional rollaway bed in our apartment, that is where my 6 foot son slept and was very happy. He had his own room and private balcony.
Comparing from the brief look at the town when we arrived and the luxury of the Sultana, we finally ate all of our meals at the resort. The food was always great. I guess an all-inclusive might have been cheaper!?! We went surfing one day but the waves weren't big enough. We did not even do it the next day as surfing condition were worst. We took an early boat and went jogging along the sea coast on two days. Amazing views! So great food, great rooms, great set-up!

La Sultana was superb - again the setting, the pool, the staff - an amazing place to finish our holiday

Transfer to La Sultana was effortless - although as I mentioned it did take around 3.5 hours due to some roadworks
The hotel itself was great - the staff very accommodating - room was again comfortable - bathroom adequate but quite small
The seafood at dinner on all 3 nights was great
We went to the local market / souk on the Saturday and surprise surprise Leslie managed to spend more money - this really was for locals only but fortunately my Arabic is good enough to bargain!

La Sultana in Oualidia was superb and I would really recommend it to anyone. We had a lovely room and the staff were always very helpful and attentive.

La Sultana was another fine experience..we were upgraded again when the house manager detected that the view we had wasn't quite what we were expecting ( he was very aware to spot that) So, great place, quite luxurious with very attentive staff, lovely food and very tranquil location. The Manager Khalil was enthusiastic, engaging and very helpful. We walked quite a lot during our stay, and I would say that 4 or 5 days would have been enough as there is not really too much else to see around that area. Bird watchers delight though.

We enjoyed the drive to Oulidia and were blown away by 'La Sultana'. Fabulous position, staff could not do enough, room was splendid, particularly enjoyed the log fire in the evening.
