Es Saadi Palace

City Hotels in Marrakech, Marrakech

The ideal compromise for those wishing to be in town but also enjoy large gardens and luxurious pools.

ABOUT: A five-star-deluxe sister property to the original Es Saadi hotel next door, the family-run Palace is located in the residential L’Hivernage neighbourhood and just ten minutes’ walk from Marrakech’s wondrous souks and Jemaa-el-Fna square.  Hidden inside 20 acres of bougainvillea, orange and lemon-tree parkland, it’s a paradise of pools, plush suites, fine dining and some of Morocco’s best service.

ROOMS: All of the 92 opulent suites look towards the snow-capped Atlas Mountains and all offer air-conditioning, marble bathrooms, free Wi-Fi and a terrace.  Options range from Junior Suites, decorated in typically-Moroccan earthy tones, up to large, Italian-style Deluxe Senior Suites on the penthouse floor, boasting large furnished terraces and separate lounges.

FACILITIES: The heated outdoor pool, in the gardens, is lake-like and features a columned swim-up bar. Inside, an extensive and attractive spa surrounds an ancient eucalyptus tree and offers a heated pool, 12 treatment rooms, a hammam, hydrotherapy pathways, a Dior Institute and the Oriental Thermae:  Eastern-inspired heat baths.  There’s even a barber shop. Food-wise, La Cour des Lions serves high-quality Moroccan cuisine, with international alternatives available in the Lagon & Jardin brasserie. Palace guests can also visit Es Saadi’s casino and nightclub.

EXTRA INFO: The Palace has a kids’ club and is ideal for families.

"If I had to live in an hotel in Marrakech, it would most certainly be the Es Saadi." - Max Lawrence

For your Marrakech City Break holiday at the Es Saadi Palace, call 0207 112 0019 to discuss your plans.

The Lawrence of Morocco map displays the locations of the destinations and accommodation that we have selected and visited; for each item, hovering over or clicking the marker will display a short summary and photo of that place or hotel, and hotel pricing. Follow the links in the info box to the full page listing which has much more information.

Note that the online map offers both a satellite view (click satellite in the top right) and, for some locations, a street level view (Drag the person in the top left onto the map). These let you explore the country; and when you wish to explore in person, or if you have any questions about the places you see, give our staff a call, or request a quote. Our staff regularly visit the places and accommodation that we feature.

When you book a holiday with us we will provide full driving instructions for reaching your accommodation, where necessary; these can be used by yourself, or you could enjoy the luxury of a driver. Alternatively we will arrange private (car rather than coach) transfers for you; helicopter transfers are also possible for some destinations.
