Tazzarine
Tazzarine is a small desert town of around 5,800 inhabitants, located in the heart of the Ait Atta area. Dispite many years of drought, the palm groves and Henna fields near the town are very pretty. In March every year there is a 'moussem' or festival to celebrate the life of a Muslim holy man who is burried there.
Petroglyphs (stone carvings) more than 10,000 years old can be found on the road to N'Kob.
