Getting to Morocco - Morocco flights from UK and Ireland

The majority of holiday visitors to Morocco fly. Flights from the UK take approximately three hours. However, there are other ways to get there if you have a bit more time and would prefer a more scenic route! Trains through France and Spain are a relaxing way to get down to the ferries crossing the strait of Gibraltar (which now only takes 35 minutes).**

Driving times are generally 30 hours (non stop) from London to Marrakech.  Best split over 3 nights in Paris, Madrid and the south of Spain but some do it quicker!

Lawrence of Morocco Ltd is an official agent for both British Airways and Royal Air Maroc.  We have access to all flights through these companies and can also book BMI, Easyjet and Ryanair flights.

We do not charge you any extra to book your flights.

When we book flights on Easyjet, Ryanair or other 'lowcost' airlines, we always include (when available) allocated seats, fast track check-in and full baggage allowance for your comfort.  Should you prefer not to have any of these extras on your flight booking, simply let your travel consultant know.

Non-Direct Flights to Morocco

Flights via Casablanca with Royal Air Maroc are available BUT the schedule means that there are often long stopovers in Casablanca on the return flight.  We therefore avoid booking these to save you a 5 or 6 hour wait in transit.  Flights to Fes from Heathrow with Royal Air Maroc work very well on the outbound journey with a 1.5 hour stop in Casablanca.  We recommend flying back from Casablanca when ending the holiday in Fes as it is only a 2-hour transfer by motorway.  This is of course unless there is a direct flight with Ryanair that day to Stansted which may be better for you

Quite simply a truly well organised trip from start to end.

Morocco deserves another trip and we will certainly book through you again.

I was coming to understand that Fes reveals its considerable charm only slowly.

Freelance travel writer, Stephen Bayley, travelled to Fes with Lawrence of Morocco in April 2013, writing for the Independent.
