Bab Ourika

With 360 degree panoramic views, Kasbah Bab Ourika receives warm sunlight all day, ending in spectacular sunsets. Guests can relax in individually decorated rooms with their own terraces or unwind by the secluded swimming pool. Meals are served in the gardens, in the colonnaded restaurant or can be taken privately in the rooms or suites. The restaurant serves food that is freshly supplied daily from the surrounding villages. The chef specialises in traditional Berber recipes as well as international cuisine. Above all the Kasbah offers peace and relaxation in spectacular surroundings, a memorable escape from the hustle of the Western World.

The Kasbah has fifteen rooms. All are individually decorated and have stunning views of the Atlas and the Valley of Ourika.

SUPERIOR ROOMS  All rooms have fantastic views of the Atlas mountains and the Ourika Valley. The superior rooms have ensuite bathrooms with shower, safe and terrace outside.

DELUXE ROOMS  Dramatic views of the Mountains and Ourika Valley. The deluxe room is larger than the superior room and has an ensuite bathroom with bath and shower, safe, fireplace and/or private terrace.

SUITES  Dramatic views of Mountains and the Ourika Valley. The suites have ensuite large bathrooms with bath and shower, safe, fireplace and/or private terrace.

DELUXE SUITE  Dramatic views of Mountains and the Ourika Valley. The deluxe suites are very large and are often used by families with 2 extra beds. They have an ensuite bathroom with bath and shower, safe, fireplace and private terrace.

In addition to easy walks and picnics locally, guests can explore the region on longer treks including the remote and unspoilt Salt National Park. You can experience a taste of Berber village life as you pass through the many local villages.

The Kasbah’s Guide, Mohammed, with mules and muleteers offers a choice of six different treks to suit all levels of fitness. The Kasbah’s chef can arrange individual picnic lunches or special picnics set up by the Kasbah staff in spectacular locations. All prices are based on 2 people trekking.

The Kasbah can also arrange for Mohammed and his team to meet you at the beginning of the Kasbah road and take you on a 1 hour walk through the local villages and olive groves before arriving at the Kasbah for lunch.
