Chez Ali has been going for a good 25 years. The evening is a traditional multi-course dinner including:

  • Harira soup
  • Mechoui (lamb on spit)
  • Couscous
  • Moroccan patisserie
  • Fruit
  • Mint tea / Coffee

Then you have the spectacular horse show which includes:

  • traditional dancers
  • tribesmen and women
  • charging horsemen firing traditional guns
  • horse acrobatics
  • flying carpet and more..!

The place is a bit of a Disney version of Morocco but fun and reasonably priced. A good evening out especially for families and groups of friends.

"Yes, it is kitsch and a pastiche of traditional Moroccan culture, but the clue is in the name 'Fantasia'. It's not meant to be an accurate anthropological study, but a 'fun' evening of entertainment."
