Hi Max
Thanks for reaching out…trip was big success with my daughter
However:
- driving was too long to the sand dunes from Ouarzazate ( 7h on the Saturday-9 on the Monday)- my fault…had forgotten how long drive through mountains/Draa valley is
- I got food poising ; was very sick ; luckily Dar Ahlam staff was very helpful upon arrival/that evening…may be the lunch at  an inhabitant's house on the way to  the first camp night; or then cooking at camp…Luckily my daughter had nothing…but clearly spoiled stay at Dar ahlam
Otherwise great !

Dear Max,

Thank you for organising our trek/trip.  It was fabulous and all went seamlessly.  The hotel was kind enough to give us a room upgrade and a late check out, so all good there too.

We would love to do one again next year.  If we were to be really critical, we were disappointed not to have a fire in the various camps.  An essential part of the whole experience we feel.  Would it be possible to request a fire next time or do the national parks have strict regulations?  We would be interested to hear where you would think of sending us as an alternative, same time, same number of days next year.  We could of course fly to a different airport in morocco.

We would be interested to hear your suggestions /ideas!

Dar Zemora luxury villa hotel in Marrakech Palmeraie Morocco

Dear Max,

I was so glad that I spotted your advertisement 'Lawrence of Morocco' in the paper.  Not knowing a thing about Morocco your help and advice was immensely helpful.   What I liked was the fact that you had lived in Morocco and knew the country and so many the hotels so well.  And you did not seem to mind how many times I rang you with yet another query.

We loved Dar Zemora, the small five bed roomed hotel outside Marrakech that you arranged for us.  It was beautifully run with wonderful staff and good food, with a nice pool in a  lovely garden.  It was so peaceful after visits to vibrant and frenetic Marrakech.  The house itself was fascinating built in Moroccan style and exquisitely furnished.

So a grateful thank you.

We're back from our wonderful trip to Morocco.  We just want to let you know everything went better than expected and more.  You and your team did a perfect job setting the right itinerary and booking us into fabulous accommodations.

No guidebook or other tour operator could have come close to the service and guidance you provided.  It was especially gratifying to know you're constantly updating and canvassing your sources to be able to put us in a place open only 8 months. You're definitely keeping current with your Morocco knowledge and it rewarded us everywhere we went. Thank you.

And we loved, loved Morocco.  We know both you and your son were in Marrakesh while we were there and it would have been nice to hook up.

We found Morocco to be a beautiful country with interesting sights and friendly people.  Thank you for helping us maximize our trip..... and I will pass your name to anyone I know who's interested in a discriminating trip to Morocco.
