You will be collected at 9.30 am from your hotel. Ouzoud is a two hour drive from Marrakech and a very pretty one passing through stunning and varied countryside.
Morocco is not just a desert area, especially the northern part of the country which in contrast is incredibly green. About 150 km from Marrakech are the Ouzoud Falls, near the village of Tanaghmeilt.
Spend a wonderful day in beautiful natural surroundings, as the route leading to the waterfall winds along a thousand olive trees that provide shade on hot summer days. At the top, there are many old, small mills because the name Ouzoud in the Berber language means ‘the act of grinding grain.’ The afternoon is at leisure; stroll along the network of trails leading to the pools below the falls.
An extraordinary attraction is the population of wild monkeys that willingly show themselves in the area of the waterfall, creating an amazing show. Spend a wonderful time in the lap of nature.

When you book a holiday with us we will provide full driving instructions for reaching your accommodation, where necessary; these can be used by yourself, or you could enjoy the luxury of a driver. Alternatively we will arrange private (car rather than coach) transfers for you; helicopter transfers are also possible for some destinations.
