A sumptuous Arab-Andalusian villa hotel set in five acres of beautiful gardens...
A private hideaway in the Palmeraie only fifteen minutes drive from the centre of Marrakech. Dar Ayniwen is a sumptuous Arab-Andalusian villa hotel set in five acres of beautiful gardens, strewn with palm, orange, olive, oleander and fig trees. Inside, it is a maze of tradition, where at every turn there are arches, lanterns and alcoves.
The property comprises 8 suites, each individually and richly decorated. Two of the suites have a private garden and hot tub. In addition there is a detached little house in the grounds which has a bedroom, living room with fireplace, bathroom and terrace.
Furnishings are a mixture of home-style comforts with an eclectic assortment of fine antiques amassed by the owner, plus discreet mod-cons (air conditioning, CD players, mini-bars, safes and cable TV).
The heated pool is hard to resist and, at night, when adorned by lantern-light, the effect is stunning. There are two dining rooms (Moroccan and European). There is also a living room with fireplace, hammam and sauna.
Guests are looked after by an attentive staff with 24-hour room service. There's also a private office (with fax, computer and internet) for those who find it hard to remain incommunicado.
During your stay a house car with driver is available for local travel (free of charge), for instance to take you to dinner or to spend the afternoon at Jamaa Lafna (the main square in Marrakech).

Dar Ayniwen was gorgeous and Stephan and his team were very helpful. We couldn't have had a more wonderful hotel, the only slight downside was the price of the food & drinks which was higher than similar luxury Riads in town. Continental breakfasts were excellent!

Lovely, would love to go back. Stephane was very helpful. Gorgeous garden. Cute baby tortoises. Good transfer system into down-town Marrakech.

We are so glad you suggested we stay at Dar Ayniwen rather than a larger hotel. The house and gardens are really gorgeous and you have this lovely sense of staying in a beautiful private house which was so relaxing .
We can't speak highly enough of Stefan , Aziz and all the staff. Each member of the team couldn't do enough for us and were so kind and helpful , particularly to our daughter , Zara. The food was superb at all times and we got some great recommendations for eating out too. It felt great to be somewhere where Zara could safely wander around the grounds on her own with no concerns .
I really wouldn't want to stay anywhere but Dar Ayniwen in Marrakesh!

The Dar Ayniwen was very welcoming, particularly as we were given the top floor rooms with our own lovely sitting room.
Aziz the manager must be worth his wait in gold to the owners he was so charming, he could not have been more helpful never wilthout a smile and seemingly genuine interest in our well being.
We liked returning to the peace after the bustle of the Medina.
