Surfland Surf Camp

Coastal hotels & riads in Morocco, Oualidia

Send your kids away to this French run surf camp (sponsored by Quicksilver) for a great holiday for both you and them..!

Veteran surfer Laurent Miramon started this impeccably run surf camp in the 1993. Ever since, parents both from Morocco and Europe have sent their kids, from age 7 to teenage, to learn to surf, learn about marine life and have loads of fun with other kids their age. The camp is run like a small boarding school with dining tent, dormitory tents (sleeping up to 6 kids per tent, boys and girls shower and wc blocks, games room and, most importantly, some of the safest conditions for learning to surf, inside the lagoon of Oualidia.

Children are taken care of 24/7 by dedicated and professionally trained camp leaders, surf teachers and a team of cooks in the camp's kitchen, led by Aicha, who prepare wholesome and tasty food to provide the necessary energy for the days' activities in the water and out.

The children enjoy making new friends and many come back regularly for more.  The staff team really know what they are doing in both the management of kids their time and in the water.  Lessons in both the morning and afternoon in the water, fun activities in the evenings.

Surfland has an excellent reputation and is well known in the world of surf to be one of the best surf camps for kids on the planet!  it is also possible to have surf lessons without staying at the camp. Look at our other places to stay in Oualidia. We can book your surf lessons at Surfland in advance. Lesson with equipment costs only 200 DH (£15 per person).

The Lawrence of Morocco map displays the locations of the destinations and accommodation that we have selected and visited; for each item, hovering over or clicking the marker will display a short summary and photo of that place or hotel, and hotel pricing. Follow the links in the info box to the full page listing which has much more information.

Note that the online map offers both a satellite view (click satellite in the top right) and, for some locations, a street level view (Drag the person in the top left onto the map). These let you explore the country; and when you wish to explore in person, or if you have any questions about the places you see, give our staff a call, or request a quote. Our staff regularly visit the places and accommodation that we feature.

When you book a holiday with us we will provide full driving instructions for reaching your accommodation, where necessary; these can be used by yourself, or you could enjoy the luxury of a driver. Alternatively we will arrange private (car rather than coach) transfers for you; helicopter transfers are also possible for some destinations.
