3-day trek in the foothills of mount Toubkal Reviews

We would love to go back.

The highlight was the trekking and especially the (Berber) cultural immersion.  We would love to go back to another part of the Atlas with Abdul and would recommend him to anyone.  He put together an excellent team.  They were warm and made us feel welcome.  They spared no effort in ensuring we were comfortable camping and walking - Abdul kept a deliberate pace and kept a wary eye on my wife so she felt safe walking in some of the slippy bits.

Walking boots would have been a good idea.

The trek and camping trip in the foothills of the Atlas mountains was really enjoyable and our guide was very good. You told me only to bring trainers and sandals, but actually walking boots would have been a good idea because the ground was quite rocky with loose stones and rocks so toe and ankle protection would have helped.
