About us

The first member of the Lawrence family to visit Morocco drove a Fiat 500 from London to the Atlas mountains with the aim of organizing skiing holidays in Morocco. In those days driving to Morocco, let alone organizing skiing trips, was an adventure in itself.

His early efforts grew into The Best of Morocco and the company soon became the leading Morocco holiday specialists. The company prided itself on offering its customers out-of-the-way destinations and experiences that no other company offered. By the early 90’s an office in Marrakech had been set up to provide customers with on the ground support and in addition arrangements were being made for international fashion companies.

Come the new millennium the focus was on building some of Morocco’s first boutique hotels some of which you can still stay in and soon afterwards Lawrence of Morocco was born to bring together the best and most unique experiences and places to stay. Then in 2016 Lawrence of Morocco join forces with another Morocco specialist, Fleewinter, to even further extend the options available to visits.

After 45 years of living and working in this wonderful country the aim is still to provide an individually tailored service with unparalleled local knowledge, whilst at the same time offer much better value than many of the large generalist travel companies. Drop us a line or give a call to test us out!
