A ride on horseback makes a pleasant change from a day’s sightseeing. The best people to do it with are a French-run riding school based in Marrakech and Oualidia. They have 30 years of experience with all types of client from young children to adults, from beginners to seasoned riders. We will be happy to arrange a riding trip along the beaches of Oualidia or over the Atlas mountains.
IMPORTANT regarding horse riding headgear:
The availability of protective headgear for horse riding can vary from destination to destination and therefore we cannot guarantee that headgear will be provided or will be the same standard as those available in the UK. For your own protection, we strongly suggest you take your own protective headgear for use on any riding activity included in your holiday.
The Lawrence of Morocco map displays the locations of the destinations and accommodation that we have selected and visited; for each item, hovering over or clicking the marker will display a short summary and photo of that place or hotel, and hotel pricing. Follow the links in the info box to the full page listing which has much more information.
Note that the online map offers both a satellite view (click satellite in the top right) and, for some locations, a street level view (Drag the person in the top left onto the map). These let you explore the country; and when you wish to explore in person, or if you have any questions about the places you see, give our staff a call, or request a quote. Our staff regularly visit the places and accommodation that we feature.
When you book a holiday with us we will provide full driving instructions for reaching your accommodation, where necessary; these can be used by yourself, or you could enjoy the luxury of a driver. Alternatively we will arrange private (car rather than coach) transfers for you; helicopter transfers are also possible for some destinations.
I would definitely recommend Lawrence of Morocco to friends and relatives..
Everything went really well, thank you. We found both the Maroc Lodge and Villa Maroc, excellent. The food was also great in both places - we only had b & b at Villa Maroc but we did eat there on the first evening and it was very good. The food at Maroc Lodge was outstanding. I couldn't fault it ...
