Leave your hotel at 9.30 am with a driver and head into the hills.. You will be driven through some of the most stunning scenery the Atlas have to offer.. Stop at Asni Berber market (Saturday) or Tahnaoute market (Tuesday) where you will have the opportunity to see what's on offer there and maybe do a little shopping. Whether you are looking for gifts or just watching the way people live, it is a fun and sometimes surprising experience.
Continue on the scenic route passing around the plateau du Kik which is a beautiful area surrounded by green fields in the winter months, passing through charming small villages where children play in the fields and by the side of the road. You may stop at one of the small food stalls in a village to have some lunch and enjoy the tasty tagines and Berber omelettes on offer. This excursion really is a very easy way to see some of the areas most beautiful vistas and to see how people live outside the cities.
Return to Marrakech by about 3.30 pm.
