A tranquil oasis in the heart of Marrakech's old medina, historic Riad el Arsat is a few minutes walk from the royal palace and the main square of Jamaa El Fna.
Nicole Arbousset's sensitive restoration has retained the original structure and soul of the palace, returning the oriental decoration-carved wooden ceilings, intricately sculpted plasterwork, polished stucco and mosaics to their former glory and blending happily with a combination of Art Deco and traditional Moroccan furnishings.
In the garden, linking the summer and winter houses, marble fountains are surrounded by luxuriant bougainvillea, bamboos, cacti and jasmine and palm, orange and cypress trees.
The reception rooms, including the impressive carved and painted grand salon, give on to Andalusian colonnaded galleries, facing the gardens and terraces. The upper rooms enjoy views of the old medina and the Atlas Mountains.
With 5 rooms and 2 suites, a large swimming pool and discreet staff, guests can feel at home in one of the most extensive and most exclusive secret garden palaces of the Marrakech medina.

When you book a holiday with us we will provide full driving instructions for reaching your accommodation, where necessary; these can be used by yourself, or you could enjoy the luxury of a driver. Alternatively we will arrange private (car rather than coach) transfers for you; helicopter transfers are also possible for some destinations.
